Embark on a captivating journey to Luxor, specifically the grand Valley of the Kings, starting from the enchanting location of Marsa Alam. The adventure commences with a visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, a monumental place of worship that boasts its ancient name “ipet-isut” which translates to “the most sacred place.” Over the span of 2000 years, generations of pharaohs contributed to the construction of this temple complex, and as you stroll through its corridors, you’ll find yourself amidst an eerie forest of majestic pillars in the Great Hypostyle Hall.

After an enjoyable lunch at a delightful restaurant overlooking the Nile, the journey continues to the west bank of this majestic river, where you’ll encounter the colossal statues of Amenhotep III, famously known as the “Colossi of Memnon.” But that’s not all, as the true wonders of the ancient world await you in the Valley of the Kings. Included in the tour, you’ll have the extraordinary opportunity to explore the interiors of three fascinating tombs, gaining insight into the mysterious afterlife beliefs of the pharaohs.

Additionally, a visit to the remarkable temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to the illustrious Queen Hatshepsut, the sole female pharaoh of ancient Egypt, will leave you in awe. This temple’s grandeur rises from the desert plain, adorned with rows of terraces and mirages, showcasing the architectural genius of the past. A testament to the extraordinary accomplishments of the ancient Egyptians.

As the day unfolds, you’ll be taken to observe the meticulous artistry at the alabaster workshops, where skilled artisans hand-manufacture their exquisite products, continuing a tradition passed down through the ages.

Please note that beverages, tips, and the Banana Island cruise come at an additional cost of $12 per person.

As the sun begins to set, the tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Marsa Alam, leaving you with cherished memories of an unforgettable journey through the wonders of Luxor and the legacy of Hatshepsut.
